I had the absolute pleasure of photographing this beautiful couple's wedding in Switzerland back in July. Daniela had originally contacted me back in 2019 to photograph their wedding in 2020, but then Covid happened and almost all my international weddings got cancelled. Daniela and Remo help out hope for a 2021 reschedule though and we waited the year our to see what restrictions would be lifted. Even up to the week before their new date, we still weren't sure if they would be able to have a wedding or if I would be able to enter the country--we took the risk though and waited, then literally ONE week before their date, the Swiss Cantons lifted restrictions to allow gatherings of more than 50 people and foreigners to enter the country. I've never been more nervous in my life crossing The Schengen Border with TWO negative covid tests (in case one of them wasn't valid) and my vaccine card, HOPING I had everything in order correctly to make it to their wedding. BUT.....everything worked out I got to photograph another epic international wedding with some of the coolest people I've met. Thank you Daniela and Remo for taking the gamble on me. <3
