I have always done photography. When I was younger, I always had a disposable camera on me, and when I was in college, I always had my point and shoot. I did small shoots with my friends, shot my boyfriend, and other various things that I thought looked cool--nothing too elaborate, I just took a lot of pictures! I never really had the time to take my passion for photography seriously while I was in school, there was always something eating up my time. It wasn't until I graduated college, that I suffered a great deal of boredom with all my new-found free time and It was then that my husband and I got Arthur. He was my muse, and my reason to snap away (pretty good subject, right?) I took pictures of everything he did--some with an element of art to them, others just normal snapshots... My husband saw how passionate I was about taking pictures of the dog that he felt I should have a proper camera--the rest is history!
Some people ask me why I'm a Nikon user, and my answer is simple, "it's what was on craigslist!"
